Terms and Conditions

SMC Education Services LLC (also operating as Coote Consulting, Rude Roots, and affiliated brands) is a woman-owned small business providing training, coaching, educational services, and youth programs for families, children, students, and professionals.

By accessing this website or using any SMC Education Services LLC program, product, or service, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all clients, participants, and visitors.

1. Services Provided

SMC Education Services LLC offers:
• Government, corporate, and organizational training (online, onsite, and blended)
• Professional Career, Education, Life, and Student Coaching
• Life Skills Workshops
• Youth educational programs and creative learning activities

2. Rules, Policies, and Modifications

All rules, policies, and regulations established by SMC Education Services LLC are binding.
SMC Education Services LLC reserves the right to modify, update, or change any rule, policy, or regulation at any time.

3. Agreements & Required Forms

3a. Education Agreements (For Minors)

For youth programs, all required forms must be completed by a parent or legal guardian prior to participation:

• Student Information Form
• Online Classroom Participation Agreement (for virtual programs)

3b. Coaching Agreements (For Adult & Student Clients)

By enrolling in coaching services, clients agree to the following:

• Sessions are non-refundable.
• Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24-hour notice.
• Clients are expected to arrive on time and prepared.
• Coaching is collaborative; results may vary and are not guaranteed.
• Sessions may be recorded for review purposes unless the client requests no recording. Recordings, if provided, remain accessible for 48 hours.
• Confidentiality is respected. Information is not shared outside SMC Education Services LLC except as required by law or with written client permission.

4. Military Discount

U.S. military members and families may be eligible for free or discounted services. Availability is limited and based on program capacity.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

SMC Education Services LLC places the highest priority on confidentiality. We do not sell, rent, or exchange personal information.

5a. Use of Images & Content

Clients, parents, and participants may not share images, videos, or recordings of SMC Education Services students, parents, instructors, or staff without written consent.
Unauthorized sharing may violate child privacy laws and may result in legal action.

5b. Information We Protect

Personal information (name, address, phone, email, etc.) will not be released except as noted below.

5c. Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers (e.g., PayPal, scheduling and payment processors). These providers must protect your data and use it only for the services they perform for us.

5d. Government and Legal Requests

We may disclose information if required to comply with legal obligations, investigate fraud, enforce policies, or protect safety.

5e. External Websites

SMC Education Services LLC is not responsible for content on external sites. Users should review external privacy policies before sharing information.
